INSPIRING HOPE
The HomeAgain program bridges the gap between graduating from the CRITI program and obtaining permanent, safe, and affordable housing. Read a few of our success stories below.

FINDING HOPE AND A HOME
When Julia was referred to CRITI, she was a refugee from Sudan. She has five boys and was abandoned by her husband. While she was in our program, she obtained her citizenship. Since then, she graduated from our program and transitioned to one of our HomeAgain homes. She works full time as a single mom and is diligent about saving.

FROM HOMELESS TO GRADUATE
Vanessa moved to Chattanooga from Detroit because a “friend” told her she could stay with them. That fizzled out quickly and she, with her two small children, found herself homeless. During her stay at CRITI, Vanessa obtained her GED and eventually graduated from the program. She was able to take advantage of our HomeAgain program while she attended college. She eventually graduated with a Pharmacy Tech certificate. Pictured is Vanessa with Erin Creal, CRITI’s Director.

MOVE TO PERMANENT HOUSING
Here is Donna, a program graduate from early 2019, all packed up and ready to settle into her new home! We have loved having Donna and her little Yorkshire Terrier, Bendi, in our program and are excited to see what the future holds for them! After being in the Transitional Housing Program for six to nine months, women are able to save money and find an affordable place to live.
