HOW YOU CAN HELP

Chattanooga Room in the Inn provides more than just shelter. In the loving arms of our program, women can address the issues that brought them to our door, learn how to pave the way to a brighter future and never be homeless again. As a non-profit, 501(C)(3), organization, we rely on the generosity of individuals, organizations, clubs, churches, foundations, and corporations to help us provide many vital functions for the program and meet our financial needs. Chattanooga Room in the Inn could use your help!

VOLUNTEER

Volunteers are the foundation and heart of Chattanooga Room in the Inn. Many vital functions are provided by volunteers including meal preparation, activities for children, fundraising committees, special projects, and life skills instruction. Additionally, volunteers help maintain the facility and grounds, and provide assistance with office duties. Chattanooga Room in the Inn needs your help. Click below to volunteer your time today!

IMPACT CLUB

Teach your children and grandchildren about the importance of giving back from an early age with our Impact Club. This young donor’s group is geared toward children between the ages of 3 and 11. The Impact Club meets quarterly on Thursday evenings. During the meetings, children will enjoy light refreshments and participate in a give back activity. Membership in the club is free.

BECOME A MONTHLY DONOR

Some donors prefer to give smaller monthly donations over a longer period of time, rather than a single lump sum. This can be easier on your personal budgeting, but still makes a big impact for us. When you make a monthly donation to Chattanooga Room in the Inn, you are committing to being there for women and children in life’s toughest moments. A donation of any amount makes a difference. To make a monthly donation, select the monthly giving box on the donate page.

Monthly gifts make a big impact for us. Here are some examples:

$25 a month allows us to purchase needed personal care items for women and children.
$50 a month allows us to provide a welcome meal or extra groceries for a family moving into the shelter.
$100 a month provides mental health counseling sessions to women and children working through trauma.
